I’m hardwired to ask questions. From my background as a journalist and syndicated columnist, to my time in PR and marketing, I’ve always been obsessed with getting answers. And while some people stop with the “who, what, when, where, why, and how,” I have always gone deeper to dig up the story behind the story.
What I learned after interviewing thousands of people is this:
Ask a better question, get a better answer.
So now, that’s what I do. I’m a writer, speaker, radio host, entrepreneur, business coach, mom, wife, friend, and Jesus lover… and I bring my same desire to help people create clarity, meaning, and momentum in their life through asking powerful questions.
In the business world, I work with luminaries like Tony Robbins, Alli Worthington, and Grant Cardone, and New York Times best-selling authors like Jennifer Louden, Kris Carr and Colette Baron-Reid. My sweet spot is communicating complex or technical messages in a human, relatable way that generates huge return on investment for my clients.
My written work has appeared in publications as diverse as the Boston Globe, Runners World, Entrepreneur.com, Success.com, and dozens more. I’m the host of “A More Beautiful Question,” a weekly radio show on FaithTalk 1360 (available as a podcast on iTunes and Spotify), and I regularly speak on faith, family, communication, and entrepreneurship.
I’m the best-selling author of several books, and I have degrees from Stanford and Syracuse University. In my spare (haha!) time, I’m currently pursuing my masters degree in pastoral counseling.
A sunshine lover and spreader, I live in Scottsdale, AZ, with my husband John. We have three kids and two dogs, and we just celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. When not at my computer, I’m behind the wheel of my car or at a kid’s sports event. I love mystery novels, crime shows, and a good latte (hot, almond milk, no foam!).
